I work at the University of Florida. I am a mother of six children, two boys, and four girls. I consider myself technologically competent, but don't do much on the web.
I am married but soon to be separated/divorced (who knows what the future holds) from a good man of ten years. We pretty much see eye to eye as long as it has nothing to do with the simple art of actually listening to each other. Even though we are going though this "change" in our lives he has continued to be there for me and hope we can salvage a friendship. Our roles in the house hold are pretty much reversed; He cooks, cleans and home schools the kids, while I work and mow the yard. We have a his, mine and ours kind of family.
The three older kids are my step-children (the "His" part of the marriage); I claim them as my own, even if they don't claim me. I brought two into the marriage, my oldest child lives in another state and my youngest (at the time) lives with me. Then there is my youngest, Lizard breath (the our part of the marriage) who binds the whole family together very well.
I have many interests in life, but to say I like crafts would be too plain to say, so let me list them...crochet needlework, the art of sex (not just the action), scrapbooking, and photography, and googling. I also like yelling at my kids, annoying the hell out of my husband (isn't that crafty?), spending money X-D, landscaping my yard, and "ignoring" my family, and sleeping
I am a very sweet and well rounded person (in more ways than one). As far as music goes I like anything, but gansta rap and death metal; although, I love crump.
Movies of choice are Sound of music, My fair lady, Van Helsing (God he's cute), X-men, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Transformers, The Stand, or pretty much any sappy love story or action adventure with a plot. My favorite actors/characters are Nicholas Cage, Frodo and Sam, Marvin the Martin, Optimums Prime.
When it comes to being kinky, my biggest turn on is biting and scratching.
I LOVE to read, maybe just a little too much. I actually get angry that I have to put my book down and go to work/sleep/spend time with family. My all-time favorite book is “Scarlett” the sequel to gone with the wind; loathed the movie, Pendragon, Eragon; again loathed the movie, and adore any Stephen King book around! Science Fiction, How to books are my # 1 preference, smutty/romance books are ok but leave me wanting more than what is possible in reality.
I don't watch too much TV right now. But my all-time fraviriate shows are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Le Femme Nakita, House, Bones 24, Prison Break and Saturday morning cartoons.
My number one hero is, of course, myself. Don’t get me wrong I am by no means an “all me” kind of person, it took many years to love, accept and be kind to myself (and still working on it). I am my own hero for surviving so much though my life with out becoming an alcoholic/crack head/ or whore when it was available. I see that I am the better for going through all the troubles in my life weather they were self inflicted or not.
Other heroes in my life are my husband and my family (for putting up with me in the beginning of my adulthood), as well as my true friends.
Below is a personality exam I took and it pretty much fits me to a “T”
You feel strong cravings and urges that you have difficulty resisting. You tend to prefer short-term pleasures and rewards over long-term consequences, however you experience panic, confusion, and helplessness when under pressure or stress. You tend to feel overwhelmed by, and therefore actively avoid, large crowds. You often need privacy and time for yourself. You prefer dealing with people or things rather than ideas. You regard intellectual exercises as a waste of your time. You see no need for pretense or manipulation when dealing with others and are therefore candid, frank and sincere. People find it relatively easy to relate to you; however you do not particularly like helping other people. Requests for help feel like an imposition on your time. You believe that you have the intelligence, common sense, drive, and self-control necessary for achieving success.
